01What we do

We produce and release instrumental albums under our own artist names.

Ocean Curates is a small, independent label. Alongside our earlier catalogue we run five instrumental projects in active distribution, each with its own genre lane, and we release their albums to the streaming platforms through a digital distributor. Everything we put out is our own catalogue — we do not sign, represent or distribute music for third parties.

02Roster

Five projects in active distribution.

01

House Guys

Deep House

Deep, organic and melodic house built for long evenings, coast roads and the good part of the night.

02

Focus Mood

Downtempo

Warm, jazzy beats for the good hours of a working day — bright keys, brushed drums and enough groove to keep you moving.

03

Study Room

Chill Out / Lo-fi

Sparse, late-night lofi for the quiet half of the night — muffled drums, felt piano and rain against the window.

04

Blue Room Trio

Jazz

Small-room jazz — piano, brushes and upright bass, played like the last set of the night.

05

7elour

R&B

Slow-burn instrumental R&B — warm keys, deep bass and a lot of room to breathe.

03How our music is made

The five projects above are produced with generative AI, and we say so on every release.

Each track begins as a written prompt authored by the label. The audio is rendered with Stable Audio 3 Medium, Stability AI’s open-weights music model, which we run on our own hardware. Stability trained the model on licensed data, which is why we can use it and still declare the result honestly. The renders are then arranged, edited and mastered by us into albums.

This describes the five projects in active distribution. Our earlier catalogue predates them and was not produced with generative AI — those five are the label’s entire AI-produced output. We disclose per release and per track, never per label.

Every release we deliver carries the AI-disclosure flags required by the distributor and the streaming platforms — no release of ours is submitted as human-performed audio. We publish the full production chain, including model, licensing basis and per-release metadata, in our provenance document.

04This application

Our release tool is internal, single-tenant software for our own catalogue.

Ocean Curates operates one small in-house command-line tool that prepares and submits our finished albums for distribution. It integrates with Too Lost’s API to create releases, upload audio and artwork, attach metadata and AI-disclosure flags, and deliver those releases to the streaming platforms.

  • Single-tenant. It authenticates against exactly one Too Lost account: our own. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, and no tenant switching.
  • Internal only. It is not a product, not offered to anyone else, and not available to the public. It has no hosted UI — it runs on the operator’s own machine.
  • Not a third-party service. We do not act as an intermediary, aggregator or distributor for other labels or artists. Only Ocean Curates’ own masters ever pass through it.
  • Scope of use. Release creation, asset upload, metadata and disclosure flags, delivery, and reading back the status of our own releases. Nothing else.
  • Credentials. API credentials and OAuth tokens belong to the operator’s single account and are held locally. They are never shared and never used on behalf of anyone else.

The OAuth redirect endpoint for that tool lives on this domain at /api/oauth/toolost/callback. It only displays the returned authorization code so the operator can complete the exchange locally — it holds no client secret and performs no token exchange itself.
